Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your account settings. No contracts, no hidden fees.
Is there a Pro free trial?
Yes. Eligible Shopify stores can try Pro free for 10 days. The trial is available once per store; cancelling, uninstalling, or resubscribing does not start another trial.
What happens to an existing $5.99 Shopify subscription?
A Shopify merchant already subscribed to Pro at $5.99 keeps that price while the subscription remains continuously active. After cancelling, downgrading, or uninstalling, a later Pro subscription uses the current $7.99 price.
What printers are supported?
BarcodeMan generates standard PDFs, so it works with any printer that can print PDFs — thermal label printers (Rollo, Zebra, Brother QL, DYMO), desktop inkjet/laser, or commercial printers.
Can I customize label size and layout?
Yes. Every label size and layout is fully customizable — from small jewelry tags to shipping labels. Add text, barcodes, QR codes, and images, and position them to the millimeter.
What barcode formats are supported?
Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, UPC-A, QR Code, and GS1 DataMatrix. The right format depends on your use case — we default to Code 128 for product SKUs and EAN-13 for retail.
Do you offer a free plan?
Yes. The store app Free plan lets you print up to 200 labels per month. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited in-app labels, then add Cloud Print for one-click printing. Eligible new standalone developer accounts also receive 2,000 production labels once through the API.
What is Cloud Print?
Cloud Print sends a label from BarcodeMan straight to your printer in one click, with no PDF download and no browser print dialog. It needs a small desktop client installed on the computer your printer is attached to. Cloud Print is available in the BarcodeMan app for Wix.
Does the API require Shopify or another commerce platform?
No. The Barcode Label API is platform-agnostic. Send JSON data from your ERP, warehouse system, marketplace, or custom application and receive print-ready PDF or PNG output.
Are there API usage limits?
The API plan includes unlimited monthly label output while subscribed. To keep workloads reliable, each API key is limited to 1,000 labels and 120 requests per minute.
