What it does
Address Labels lets you print shipping labels for your Shopify orders. You pick orders, choose a template, and print. Each label shows order and customer data like name, address, and shipping info based on your template design.
How to use it
- Go to Address labels from the left sidebar in Shopify admin.
- You will see the Address Labels page with two tabs: Printing Queue and Template Design.
- Click the Import Orders button to add orders to your printing queue.
- Choose where to import from:
- From orders — Pick from your Shopify orders
- From draft orders — Pick from your draft orders
- Select the orders you want, then add them to the queue.
- Back in the Printing Queue, you can:
- Set quantity — Set how many labels to print for each order
- Clear all — Remove all orders from the queue
- Choose a template from the Select a template dropdown at the top. The dropdown shows all your address label templates.
- Click Generate [N] labels to create the labels for printing.
Template Design tab
Click the Template Design tab to preview how your labels will look with the selected template. You need to select a template first.
Good to know
- Address labels use order data, not product data. The template should have elements linked to order fields like customer name, address, city, country, etc.
- You can import orders from regular orders or draft orders.
- The “Generate labels” button is disabled until you add orders and select a template.
- Address label templates are separate from product label templates. Make sure you select an address label template, not a product label template.
