What it does

When you add products to the printing queue, there are limits on how many variants you can select at once.

The limits

  • Maximum 300 variants per selection. You cannot select more than 300 variants in one batch. If you try, you will see: “Too many variants selected (max 300)”.
  • Products with more than 250 variants are handled differently by the system. You may notice a slight delay when selecting these large products, but the result is the same.

What to do if you hit the limit

  1. Select up to 300 variants and click Add.
  2. Go back and select the next batch of variants.
  3. Repeat until all your products are in the queue.
  4. There is no limit on the total number of items in the printing queue — only on how many you can add at one time.

Good to know

  • The 300 limit applies to variants, not products. A product with 10 variants counts as 10 towards the limit.
  • If you select a product with many variants (like 100+), it may take a moment to load all the variant data.
  • The footer of the product selection dialog shows “Selected X / 300 variants” so you can track your count.
