Product Label Printing

Print labels for Shopify products using data like name, price, barcode, and SKU. Import products from your store, orders, transfers, Stocky, or CSV upload.

What it does

Product Label lets you print labels for your Shopify products. You pick the products, choose a template, and print. Each label shows product data like name, price, barcode, or SKU based on your template design.

How to use it

  1. Go to Product label from the left sidebar in Shopify admin.
  2. You will see the Product Label page with two tabs: Printing Queue and Template Design.
  3. Click the Select button to add products to your printing queue.
  4. Choose where to select from:
    • From products — Pick products from your Shopify store
    • From orders — Pick line items from orders
    • From draft orders — Pick items from draft orders
    • From transfers — Pick items from inventory transfers
    • From Stocky purchase order — Pick items from Stocky purchase orders
    • Upload CSV… — Upload a CSV file with product data
  5. In the product selection dialog, you can search, filter by collection, and sort products. Each product shows its name, SKU, barcode, and number of variants.
  6. Select the products you want (up to 300 variants at a time), then click Add.
  7. Back in the Printing Queue, you can:
    • Sort by — Change the order of items in the queue
    • All Locations — Filter by inventory location
    • Assign… — Assign a template to selected items
    • Set quantity — Set how many labels to print for each item
    • Clear all — Remove all items from the queue
  8. Choose a template from the Select a template dropdown at the top. The dropdown shows all your product label templates with their names and descriptions.
  9. Click Generate [N] labels to create the labels for printing.

Template Design tab

Click the Template Design tab to see a preview of how your labels will look with the selected template. You need to select a template first.

Good to know

  • You can select products from many sources: products, orders, draft orders, transfers, Stocky, or CSV upload.
  • The product selection dialog shows product name, SKU, and barcode columns.
  • You can filter products by collection (like VANS, ADIDAS, NIKE, etc.) and sort by various criteria (created date, title, inventory level, vendor, etc.).
  • The maximum selection is 300 variants at a time.
  • The template dropdown includes a “Create new template” button if you need a new design.
  • The “Generate labels” button shows the count of labels that will be created. It is disabled until you add products and select a template.
