Browser Blocks Popup Window When Printing

BarcodeMan opens a PDF in a new window for printing. If your browser blocks pop-ups, the PDF won’t appear and nothing happens when you click “Generate labels”.

Fix: Enable BarcodeMan’s Built-in Workaround

1. Go to BarcodeMan Settings.
2. Check “Ignore browser pop-ups blocker”.
3. Try generating labels again.

This setting makes BarcodeMan open the PDF in the current tab instead of a pop-up window.

Alternative: Allow Pop-ups in Your Browser

Chrome

1. Click the blocked pop-up icon in the address bar (or go to Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Pop-ups).
2. Add your Shopify admin URL to the allow list.

Safari

1. Go to Safari → Settings → Websites → Pop-up Windows.
2. Find your Shopify admin URL and set to Allow.

Firefox

1. Click the blocked pop-up notification bar at the top.
2. Click Options → Allow pop-ups for this site.

Edge

1. Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Pop-ups and redirects.
2. Add your Shopify admin URL to Allow.
