When using Avery sheet labels with BarcodeMan, you need to set your template dimensions to match the Avery model. Below is a reference table for popular Avery models.


How to Use Avery Labels

  1. Create a new template in BarcodeMan
  2. Set the Paper Size to Letter (216mm × 279mm) or A4 (210mm × 297mm)
  3. Set the Label Size and Margins according to the table below
  4. Design your label content
  5. When printing, select the matching paper size in the print dialog
  6. Set Scale to 100% and Margins to None

Tips

  • Measure first: If you’re unsure about your Avery model, measure one label with a ruler to confirm the dimensions
  • Fine-tune margins: Different printers have slight variations. Adjust margins by ±0.25mm if labels are slightly misaligned
  • Use millimeters: Switch to mm in the template editor for more precise measurements
  • Test print on plain paper: Print one sheet on regular paper first. Hold it over your Avery sheet to check alignment before using the real labels.
