For step-by-step guides specific to your label type, see:
Universal Print Settings
These apply to all label types:
| Setting | Recommended Value |
|---|---|
| Scale | 100% or “Actual size” — never “Fit to page” |
| Margins | None or Minimum |
| Paper size | Must match your actual label paper |
Common Mistakes
- Labels are too small or too big → Scale is not 100%.
- Labels are offset or misaligned → Paper size doesn’t match actual paper, or margins are not None.
- Barcodes won’t scan → Printer resolution is below 300 dpi, or barcode data is empty/invalid.
- PDF doesn’t open → Browser is blocking pop-ups. See Browser Blocks Popup Window When Printing .
Tips
- Test with one label first before printing a full batch.
- If colors look off, check that your printer is not set to “draft” or “economy” mode.
