What is BarcodeMan?

BarcodeMan is a web app for creating and printing barcode labels, price tags, and shipping labels. Create a reusable template and link its elements to store fields, such as product name, price, barcode, or SKU. When you generate labels, BarcodeMan fills in those values and creates a PDF you can print or download.

Choose the instructions matching your screen

If your screen shows Product selection / All products / Ready to print, follow the new-interface instructions in each guide. If it shows 1. Choose template / 2. import products, follow the old-interface instructions.

Before you print

Use a thermal label, inkjet, or laser printer that can print the PDF through your computer. Load paper that matches your template.

We recommend 300 dpi or higher for small text and detailed barcodes. At lower resolutions, you may need a larger barcode design.

If the PDF does not open, check for a blocked pop-up using Browser blocks popup window when printing.

Quick start (3 steps)

Step 1: Create a template

Follow Create your first template to set the paper size, add elements, and connect them to your product data.

If you are unsure which paper type to choose, Label templates explains roll, multi-column, and sheet labels.

Step 2: Generate your labels

You can select products from your store catalog, orders, or a CSV file. For your first test, select one product variant, choose your template, and set the label quantity to 1. Check the total before generating the PDF, then open it and check the content.

For address labels, select an order and use an address label template. Print your first labels covers both workflows.

Step 3: Print a test label

Select your printer, match the paper size to the PDF, and print at 100% / Actual size. Check that the content fits inside the label. If it includes a barcode, scan it with the scanner you will use before printing more.
