Set print quantity

Set individual label quantities or change the complete printing selection. Compare Change quantity in the new interface with Set quantity in the old interface.

The selection steps below describe BarcodeMan in Shopify.

The number of labels generated is the sum of the quantities in your printing selection. Check the quantities before each print job; they are not always 1.

Change quantities

Which screen do you see?

Choose the description that matches your app to see its steps.

New interface

  1. Add products to Ready to print, or import orders into Order selection.
  2. For one item, edit its quantity directly in the table.
  3. To change the complete selection, click Change quantity in the bottom action bar. On smaller screens, open More actions first.
  4. For products, choose By input and enter a whole number, or choose By inventory. For addresses, enter Print quantity.
  5. Click Apply. This updates every variant or order in the printing selection, including items not visible on the current catalog page.

New catalog selections use their positive inventory quantity, or 1 when inventory is zero or negative. Imported items can carry quantities from their source.

Earlier interface

  1. Import products or orders into the table.
  2. For one item, edit its Quantity cell.
  3. For every item, click Set quantity.
  4. In Set print quantity for all, enter Print quantity, then click Update.
  5. On Product labels, Match with inventory sets the queue quantities to their inventory values.

Set quantity updates all rows; it does not use a subset of checked rows.

For example, quantities 2, 3, and 5 produce 10 labels. A quantity of zero excludes that row from the output; a selection with no positive quantities cannot generate labels.
