Search and filter products

Find products in the new All products view or old Import by products dialog, including search, collection filters, saved searches, and selection.

The selection steps below describe BarcodeMan in Shopify.

Use search and filters to find the variants you want to print. The catalog is on the main page in the new interface and inside an import dialog in the old interface.

Choose the description that matches your app to see its steps.

New interface

  1. Open Product labels → Product selection → All products.
  2. Enter a product search term, SKU, or barcode in Search products. Pause briefly for results to update. Exact variant matches can be marked SKU match or Barcode match.
  3. Expand a product to review its variants, then check the variants you want. Your selections appear in Ready to print immediately.
  4. To browse by collection instead, clear your search and choose Collection. If your store has saved searches, you can choose Saved Search instead.
  5. Use Active, Draft, and Archived to narrow product status when available. Saved Search uses its own conditions and disables these status controls.
  6. Use the sort control and Next / Previous to browse. These change the displayed catalog, not the items already selected for printing.

If search is disabled, reset both Collection and Saved Search to their empty/default option. A saved search also disables the Collection control.

Earlier interface

  1. Open Product labels → Import → Products.
  2. In Import by products, type in the search field and wait briefly for the results.
  3. To browse a collection, clear the search, open Collection, and select the collection you want.
  4. Select products or expand them to choose individual variants, then click Add to import them into the printing table.

An active Collection filter disables search and sorting. Remove the applied collection filter to re-enable them. A non-empty search disables Collection filtering. This dialog does not have the new interface’s Saved Search or status controls.

Sort the output

In the new Ready to print view, use Sort by for name or SKU ordering. Check the resulting selection and quantities before generating. Catalog search sorting and the order of labels in your printing selection are separate controls.
