Product selection limits

The selection steps below describe BarcodeMan in Shopify.

The new printing selection holds up to 300 distinct variants. A variant is a product option combination, not a label copy: one variant with quantity 10 produces 10 labels but occupies one selection entry.

Print a large catalog in batches

New interface

1. Add up to 300 distinct variants to Ready to print.
2. Review quantities and generate the labels for that batch.
3. After the job succeeds, remove the completed items with Clear all or the row controls. You can also use the print dialog’s queue-cleaning option when offered.
4. Add the next batch, then repeat.

Changing catalog filters or pages does not empty Ready to print. CSV, order, and other imports join that same selection; they do not bypass the 300-variant capacity.

Earlier interface

1. Import a manageable group through Import → Products, then click Add.
2. Review quantities and print the group using Generate labels → Print all or Download.
3. Use Clear all after completing that batch, then import the next group.

The Shopify CSV import dialog explicitly limits each upload to 300 variants. Keep exported files within that limit. This interface does not show the new Ready to print capacity message.

Selecting a whole product can add all its variants. Expand it and choose individual variants when you only need some options. For CSV lookup files in the new interface, the upload page also limits files to 300 data rows.
