Print the entire page in A4 or Letter size

To print one large label per A4 or Letter page, make the label dimensions match the paper. Use these portrait dimensions:

New interfaceCreate template, then Custom sheet label and Create and start designing. Earlier interfaceCreate, then Paper brand / Paper type and Next.

New interface

1. Open Templates and click Create template (or Create your first template if the list is empty).
2. Choose Product label, then Custom sheet label.
3. Set Row and Column to 1. Under Sheet size type, choose A4 or Letter.
4. Set Unit, Label width, and Label height to the values in the table above. Selecting the sheet size alone does not resize the label.
5. Set Margin left, Margin top, Margin right, and Margin bottom to 0. With one row and one column, the gaps are automatically zero; there are no gaps to enter.
6. Click Create and start designing to open the canvas.

Earlier interface

Use Roll label for a full-page label in the earlier interface. This avoids the older PDF generator’s problems with a sheet containing only one row or column. The resulting PDF page matches the dimensions you enter and can be printed on A4 or Letter paper.

1. Open Templates and click Create.
2. Choose Product label under Label type.
3. Set Paper brand to Custom and Paper type to Roll label.
4. Click Next. Choose the unit and enter Label width and Label height from the table above. Enable I want set manually. if the fields are locked.
5. Click Save to apply the paper settings and open the canvas. Roll setup automatically uses one label per page, with zero template margins and gaps.

For an existing template that you can edit, open Configure to apply the paper settings for your interface. Review the design after changing the paper size, then use the editor’s Save action to save your changes. If Shopify shows This template is print-only, click Create a new template and follow the setup steps above.

Check the PDF and print

1. Design your label and Save the template.
2. Generate a PDF with a total label quantity of 1. For a sheet template in the new interface, leave Number of labels to skip at 0.
3. Open the PDF and check that it has one page, that the page size matches A4 or Letter, and that the content is positioned correctly.
4. In the print dialog and printer settings, select the same paper size and portrait orientation. Print one PDF page per sheet at 100% scale. In Adobe Acrobat, choose Actual size; avoid Fit or Shrink oversized pages, which can resize the label. Set browser print margins to None, where available.
5. Print one test page before printing more copies.
