Roll label template

Roll labels are supplied on a roll and printed with a compatible label printer, such as DYMO, Zebra, Brother, or Rollo. Match the template to one physical label.

Create a roll label template

Example: a 57 × 32 mm roll label with product name, price, and barcode. Choose the instructions that match the controls in your app.

New interface

1. Open Templates and click Create template (or Create your first template if the list is empty).
2. Choose Product label.
3. Choose Custom roll label for this example.
4. Set Unit to mm, Label width to 57, and Label height to 32.
5. Click Create and start designing to open the canvas.

If your paper has a listed model, choose I know the brand & model instead, select its brand and model, and use its preset dimensions. Use Customize only when you need to change those dimensions.

Earlier interface

1. Open Templates and click Create.
2. In the configuration form, choose Product label under Label type.
3. Set Paper brand to Custom and Paper type to Roll label.
4. Click Next. Select millimeters and enter Label width: 57 and Label height: 32. Enable I want set manually. if the fields are locked.
5. Click Save to apply the paper settings and open the canvas.

For a listed paper model, select its Paper brand and Paper model instead, then check its preset dimensions on the next step.

Already have a template? Open it and use Configure to review its paper settings.

Add your product data

1. Add a Text element and set Link to to the product name field.
2. Add another Text element and link it to the price field.
3. Add a Barcode element and link it to the barcode field. Choose a format that matches your data, such as CODE128 for alphanumeric values.
4. Arrange the elements on the canvas and Save the template. Applying paper settings alone does not save later design changes.

Generate a PDF with a product using your saved template and check the name, price, and barcode before printing a test label.
